Bishop Elect Hasani D. Lee

Bishop Elect Hasani D. Lee, Sr. is originally from Durham, N.C. but has lived in Mebane, NC for over 15+ years. Bishop Elect is the eldest of four children.  He is the son of Ms. Kaye S. Lee and Mr. Dennis A. Thorpe. Bishop Elect journey to Christ began at the age of 14 years old while living at Elon Homes for Children in Elon College, N.C. (now Elon, N.C.) While attending Glen Raven First Baptist Church in Glen Raven, N.C. while at Elon Homes for Children. The late Ms. Mary Hooks took him to church one Sunday morning, and that’s where his love for GOD began. 

Many have heard his personal testimony of enduring 15 different foster homes and being sexually molested in three of those homes. Even then GOD was persevering this awesome man of GOD. Never allowing those rough times in life to defind , nor discourage him, he kept pressing. Bishop Elect then joined Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Burlington, N.C. in May 2000 under the leadership of Dr. Larry E. Covington. There he began to truly understand the more abundant life principals.  It was also there that his desire for the things of GOD grow even greater!

His foundation in Christ was matured while at Ebenezer UCC. There his life, assignment, and calling into the ministry was discovered. During his 10+ years at EUCC he served as the Children’s Ministry Director, Youth Ministry Leader. He also was part of the Pastor Assistant Ministry, Hospitality Ministry, Boys 2 Men Mentor Ministry. For three years he was employed in full time ministry as Director of the Ebenezer Center for Christian Opportunities (13,000) plus sq. feet facility, and was the Director of the Excel After-School, & Summer Camp Programs. Leading a staff of over 10 and over children 40+ children.

One Sunday morning at 6:30am, Bishop Elect Lee was awaken by a loud voice blaring from his television. He sat up on the side of his bed and began to listen.  He listen, listen, and listen some more. It was that morning that he knew that this was his covering and the Pastor who was going to take him to the next level in his walk with Christ and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was none other than Pastor Anthony Q. Knotts, Founder & Pastor of  MORE Church ( formerly The Embassy Church International) in Greensboro, N.C. 

There at The Embassy Church International his then Spiritual Father  helped Bishop Elect in life and introduce him to real ministry. Bishop Elect is not ashamed to admit that he has not always been obedient to GOD or his WORD! He has MISSED IT at times. But with the grace of GOD, he was able to repent and get back on track. He has made many decisions in his life, which were tough because he stepped outside of GOD’s Will for his life. He shares these mistakes with young people not to give satan any GLORY. But to remind himself and other that “GOD IS NOT FINISH WITH YOU! That GOD the father will use our mistakes, for his glory!”  He was license to preach the gospel on Sunday, October 23, 2011 after sharing his initial sermon entitled “ Preserved For His Purpose: It Was All A Part of His Plan”.

In April of 2014 he was license and ordain as a Pastor by Kingdom Churches of American under the leadership of Founding Prelate Apostle Andre P. Davis, Sr. On Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 10am Bishop Elect Hasani D. Lee, Sr. launch The New Journey Center there in Haw River, NC now resides in Greensboro, N.C.  Their Church Motto is “Where We Are Embracing You, As You Embrace, Your New Journey In Jesus.” 

Then on December 31, 2019 Bishop Elect Lee join The Victory Center Church in Kernersville, NC Jamestown, NC, under the leadership of Apostle  Dr. Timothy L.  Warren.  Then in 2020 Bishop Elect Lee became part of the Covenant Global Consortium. In October 2021 Bishop Elect Lee was elevated to the office of Overseer, and currently serve as Assistant Director of Adjacency Ministry of CGC. 

Bishop Elect Lee is a businessman and is the owner of HDL Photography Group, Creating Lasting Memories Life Enrichment Services, & Life Journey Motivational Speaking Group. Bishop Elect Lee is a experience leader in the health care industry and serves as a Activity Director in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, & Adult/Family Care Homes for over 22+ years. Bishop Elect Lee has a gift that has made room for him, and he has a desire to help empower individuals, leaders, and world changers to make an awesome impact on those that they serve daily. 

Often he will use humor, wit, and real conversations as his way of getting people to get into the birthing position to birth the greatness within them. He graduated from Western Alamance, then completed his studies at Alamance Community College. He later attend Greensboro Bible Institute. He is the father of four wonderful children Xavier, Caitlyn, Madison, and Hasani Jr.  They reside and have a home in Mebane, N.C
